Arvon Foundation: Hit Squad – Selected
Where the 2009/10 course will be in a writers’ retreat centre in Hebden Bridge

Details Practical workshops hosted by Kinks’ tunesmith Ray Davies, the retreat is for writing high quality pop songs. You send in a sample song, which is checked as part of the selection process. 2009 course has been postponed and was oversubscribed.

Details Taught by Max Bonanno. For singers who want to hone their song writing and vocal technique. Ideally students should have already written some material and be able to play basic piano and/or guitar. The course will help you write in a more structured and conscious way. The goal is for everyone to write at least one new song.
